We started to do our project last week. We of course, is referring to my teammates Prodigy, Mariana, Shanttal. In was not there the first day of the project as I was at a doctors appointment, but the second day I was actually surprised as we would communicate a lot and we would make sure that we would all be on board with the decisions regarding the project. We would talk about how we felt about the song choices and the ideas that we could come up with for our video. We ended up picking the song "Fake Sugar" by Beth Ditto. We chose this song because we thought that we would be able to create a more charismatic artist and make a better video in terms of editing and the style of it.
Once we decided on the song we would then shift on to who would be the star of our video. At first, I was going to be wearing a wig since the singer is a woman. Surprisingly, the girls thought that it was a fun idea (I came up with it), and we decided to pitch the idea to Mrs. Stoklosa, she said that it was a nice idea but that we shouldn't do it for my sake, she said that every person with a vagina in the class would hate me after the video. I agreed and we decided that the star of our video would be someone outside of the group.
Once we were starting to build the project up, we made a Google doc to put everything in and be able to have it organized. We put in our schedules for filming and highlighted sections for the areas of the research that everybody would have to do. Now that everybody had a role/job to do we started to work. A filming date was picked and all went well. The group really worked as a team as we just did our best to work together and get a goods result out of it.
